About Amy
Amy Marshal
Amy is a storyteller who believes in the power of personal narratives to breach walls built on misunderstanding and distrust. She is a passionate advocate for people whose voices too often remain unheard. A domestic abuse survivor, an autoimmune warrior, a widowed mom to three adolescent kids and a feisty senior cat, Amy writes her own experiences into both fiction and nonfiction stories. Additionally —when not working to pay the bills, fulfilling her duties as chief executive officer of home affairs, or wrangling children into educational activities—she enjoys gathering among good friends, streaming coming-of-age flicks, relaxing with good books, completing crochet projects, and perfecting allergy-friendly recipes.
